Matthieu Belin is a French photographer established in China since 8 years.
He firstly started in 1996 as documentary photographer, showing his work in major Photojournalism event such as Visa pour l’image and Arles. He exhibited in France during an itinerant exhibition during 3 years with FNAC galleries.
During more than 10 years he dropped photography to refine his understanding of visuals and worked as Art Director for EBEL (LVMH), internationally renowned Architect Christian de Portzamparc and worked over a period of 5 years for the Parisian advertising agency AIR PARIS focusing on luxury brands. In China he opened AIR PARIS Shanghai offices and took care of Yue Sai, Chinese l’Oréal brand during 3 years.
In 2010, he created Ubiquity Photography to devote himself entirely to photography, so as to encapsulate his experience in the service of a unique photographic idea. Since then his interest has shifted to Fashion photography. His work has been published in Vogue, GQ, VISION, Harper’s Bazaar Art, ELLE, ELLE MEN, LIFE Magazine, Surface, FIgaro Madame, Wallpaper, All sports. He has worked with brands such as Adidas, Erdos, Yue Sai (l’Oréal), Li-Ning, Cartier, Mido, Clarks, Rado, Peuterey.
